praising God (التَّحْمِيدُ)

التعريف :
That a person says: ‘all praise be to God’.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Saying "Rabbana wa lak al-hamd" (Our Lord, and all praise is due to You) upon standing upright after rising from "rukoo‘" (bowing) in prayer.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Tahmeed": frequent and ample praise of Allah. It is more profound than "hamd" (praise).
