التعريف
Drawing up a comparison between the different variants. This applies to the case of a single word, when three elements are fulfilled: Arabic grammatic validity, agreement with the written script, and acceptance by the general public. A further condition is added, which is that the preference given to one variant must not lead to dropping the other variant if it occurs in any of the mutawātir variant recitations.
