al-Ḥudaybiyah (الْحُدَيْبِيَةُ)

A place on the way between Makkah and Jeddah where it is possible to enter into the state of consecration, i.e. iḥrām. It is the farthest limit of the Ḥaram area, and the name is used to refer to the ḥudaybiyah mīqāt.
