الغفور
كلمة (غفور) في اللغة صيغة مبالغة على وزن (فَعول) نحو: شَكور، رؤوف،...
Fear of Allah Almighty, which is based upon knowledge of His greatness and His perfect sovereignty and majesty.
"Khashyah" (awe/fear) is one of the acts of worship of the heart whereby one draws close to Allah Almighty. It is a state of specific apprehension that one experiences when he becomes aware of the greatness of the Creator and feels His Awe. Therefore, Allah has made it an exclusive characteristic of those who are knowledgeable among His slaves. Knowledge and fearing Allah are inseparable; whenever one of them is missing, the other is missing as well. The more one has knowledge of Allah, the more he fears Him.
"Khashyah": fear coupled with knowledge and glorification. It mostly results from knowledge of what is feared. Derived from "khashy", which means dried plants.
Fear coupled with knowledge and great respect of the one feared.
