A description of a hadith indicating that the four Imams relate it in their Sunan anthologies. They are Abu Dāwūd al-Sijistānī (d. 275 AH, 889 CE), Abu ꜤĪsā al-Tirmidhī (d. 279 AH, 893 CE), Abu ꜤAbd al-Raḥmān al-Nasāʾī (d. 303 AH, 910 CE) and Ibn Mājah al-Quzwīnī (d. 273 AH, 887 CE).
