التعريف
That the wording indicates that the ruling of what is said applies to what is not expressed because both have in common a meaning that tells everyone who knows the language that the ruling of what is said is based on that meaning, without need for any ijtihād or consideration. This is a Ḥanafī term equal to the term mafhūm al-muwāfaqah upheld by the majority of scholars.
