التعريف :

A long vowel that follows a glottal stop, but it is an original part of the word and does not replace a second glottal stop. It is called ‘similar to badal’, because the badal or the alternate vowel is originally a glottal stop that is dropped and replaced by a long vowel. To give an example: the ū in the word yaʾūs in ‘innahū layʾūsun kafūr’ (11: 9).
