very patient (الصَّبُور)

The one who is much tolerant and who does not resort to immediately inflict punishment on the disobedient. He delays this until a time he has appointed, thus, giving them time to change their attitude. God, the mighty and exalted, is described as patient, but scholars have different views on whether al-Ṣabūr is one of his names.
