According to sufis, it means to be totally absorbed by the truth that is fully experienced, or to lose consciousness or be dazed or lost, as one sees the lights of truths. As such it is a sort of amazement and intoxication resulting from the manifestation God’s secrets to a person’s heart. This is in the state of seeing.
