المقيت
كلمة (المُقيت) في اللغة اسم فاعل من الفعل (أقاتَ) ومضارعه...
A financial institution in the form of a joint-stock company. It receives people’s savings in return of stocks or investment documents of equal value. It then gives the fund to another party to invest primarily in stocks and shares, as well as other ways of investment, on behalf of the participants in the fund, with the aim of ensuring the best rate of profit with minimum risk and according to agreed conditions. The assets of investment funds are owned jointly by the investors, and each of them has a common share of the net assets. Therefore, an investment fund is divided right from the moment of subscription into stocks of equal values, called investment units. The total of these constitutes the net assets of the fund.
