The walk around the KaꜤbah seven times after a pilgrim arrives in mina on the Eid day, when he performs the duties of stoning, slaughter of the sacrifice and shaving his head. After that he goes to Makkah where he performs this ṭawāf, which is an essential duty of the pilgrimage.
