التعريف

A Shia dynasty named after Abu ꜤUbaydullāh al-Qaddāḥ. They ruled in North Africa at the beginning of the third Hijrī century (tenth century). Their state lasted 266 years and their rule in Egypt continued for 208 years, until it was ousted by Ṣalāḥ al-Dīn al-Ayyūbī (Saladin). They were the richest, most oppressive and most wicked rulers on earth. Many acts of deviation and corruption became prevalent under their rule. They were the first to place large stones on graves and the first to celebrate the prophet’s birthday.
