التعريف :

A method followed by some Ḥanafī scholars in connection of a sunnah reported by single narrators. They would first examine it against what the Qur'an says. If such a sunnah is in agreement with the Qur'an, they would approve of it. Otherwise, they would not. The majority of scholars disagree with them.
