reflexive cause (الْعِلَّةُ الْمُـنـْعَكِسَة)
أصول الفقه
التعريف :
The case where the ruling does not operate when the cause does not exist. Reflexive means the non-existence of the cause necessitates the non-existence of the ruling. Some scholars consider this a condition for the validity of the cause, but this is contrary to the view of the majority of scholars.
