التعريف
A land subject to a peace agreement between its non-Muslim owners and the Muslim ruler. It either remains the property of its owners and they pay its tax, which is waived when they embrace Islam. Alternatively, it becomes an endowment property of the Muslims. In this case, the unbelievers will have to pay tribute which is waived if they embrace Islam.
