التعريف :

A description of a narrator implying that he was quoted by two or more narrators, but his public or private reliability remained unknown, as his acceptability or otherwise has not been confirmed. This is a term of the sixth degree, the least of unacceptable grades. Hadiths narrated by people of this grade are written for reconfirmation, not as main evidence.
