التعريف :

A description of a narrator implying that only one person narrates from him, and no ruling on his acceptability or otherwise has been confirmed. This is a term of the sixth degree, the least of unacceptable grades. Hadiths narrated by people of this grade are written for reconfirmation, not as main evidence.
