التعريف :


One of the names referring to the Khawārij because they raised the slogan lā ḥukm illa lillāh i.e. ‘Judgement belongs to God alone’. Their leaders were ꜤAbdullāh ibn Wahb al-Rāsibī and ꜤAbdullāh ibn al-Kawwāʾ. They denounced as unbelievers ꜤAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, ꜤUthmān ibn ꜤAffān, the leaders of the two parties in the battle of the camels, the two arbiters, whoever accepted arbitration, or considered the two arbiters or either of them as acceptable.
