Jesus, son of Mary, (peace be upon him), God’s servant, prophet and messenger. He is God’s word which he gave to Mary and a soul from him. His mother, Mary, daughter of ꜤImrān, gave birth to him in Bethlehem in Palestine, and he lived most of his life in Nazareth. God revealed to him the gospel and supported him with great miracles, such as healing the blind man and the leper; as well as restoring the dead to life, doing all this by God’s leave. The Jews took a hostile attitude to him and tried to kill him, but they neither killed nor crucified him, although it was made to appear so to them. God raised him to himself. He will come back at the end of time to administer justice and he will break the crucifix, kill the pig, abolish tribute and kill the imposter.
