توحيد الألوهية
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man said to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him): "It is as Allah wills and you will." Thereupon, he said: "Do you make me an equal to Allah? It is only as Allah wills."

In this Hadīth, Ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) informs us that a man approached the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) concerning some matter. As this man spoke, he said: “It is as Allah wills and you will, O Messenger of Allah.” Hearing that, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) criticized him and explained that coupling the will of created beings with the will of the Creator is a form of polytheism; so, it is not permissible for a Muslim to utter such a thing. Then, he told him the correct words to say; that is to mention the will of Allah alone and not join it with the will of anyone else.
