Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) three days before he died, saying: "Let none of you die but should have good expectation from Allah."  
عن جابر بن عبد الله -رضي الله عنهما-: أنه سمع رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قبل موته بثلاثة أيام، يقول: «لا يَمُوتَنَّ أحدُكم إلا وهو يُحسنُ الظَّنَّ بالله -عز وجل-».

شرح الحديث :

Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) three days before he died, saying: Let none of you die in any state but in one state, which is having good expectation from Allah, by believing that He will be merciful to him and will pardon him.
