To change one’s expression from the mode of the third person to that of the second or first person, or the reverse.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Turning one’s face and/or body to the right or the left.
الشرح المختصر :
"Iltifāt" (turning) is to turn the direction of the face and/or the body to the right or the left. "Iltifāt" is of two types: 1- "Iltifāt" with the face only without the rest of the body. 2. "Iltifāt" with both the face and the body.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Iltifāt": turning to the left or the right. Derived from "laft", which means diversion of something.
