According to scholars of fiqh: unacceptability. According to theologists: apparently contrary to the shariah. E.G. A person prays even though he thinks that he has invalidated his wudu. According to fiqh scholars, the prayer is invalid and must be redone. According to theologists: it is sound because in appearance it is consistent with the order. A person is required to pray if he thinks that most probably his wudu is valid, and he has done. Nevertheless, theologists require such a person to redo his prayer if he remembers.
