A description of a narrator indicating that his memorisation is suspect and that he narrates some hadiths that are well-known and consistent with what other reliable narrators state while some are inconsistent with their narrations. This is one of the phrases in the sixth grade of unacceptability which means that the hadiths narrated by people in this grade are written down for endorsement, not as evidence.
