المعنى الاصطلاحي

A valley between Mina and Muzdalifah which is not part of either of them.

الشرح المختصر

Wadi Muhassir is one of the valleys of Makkah; it is also called Muhassir. It is a place between Mina and Muzdalifah but is not part of either. It is about 545 cubits long; i.e. about two kilometers long, and between ten and twenty meters wide.

التعريف

A valley between Muzdalifah and Mina. It is given this name because the elephant in the lead of Abrahah and his army which intended to pulldown the KaꜤbah stopped there and would not move. Thus, he caused his people to be in regret.
