المعنى الاصطلاحي :
What is endless and perpetual.
الشرح المختصر :
"Abadi" (eternal) is a description for that which lasts forever, without end, in the future. It does not cease to exist in this world or in the Hereafter. It does not have an end, nor does it become non-existent after having existed. "Abadiyyah" (eternity) is of two types: 1. Related to Allah, the Almighty: It refers to His being everlasting and eternal. Allah, the Almighty, is the Ever-Living Whose life is perfect, everlasting, and never ends by death or extinction. 2. Related to some eternal creatures like Paradise, Hell, and the like.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Abadi": eternal. Derived from "abad", which means eternity, long time. Other meanings: perpetual, everlasting.
