المعنى الاصطلاحي :
The connection with the deceased through blood relation.

"Idlā’" (connection) is someone's blood relation with the deceased through lineage, either directly, e.g. the deceased's father, mother, son, daughter; or via someone, e.g. grandson or granddaughter via son.
