Facing (اسْتِقْبالٌ)

المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Facing the location of the Ka‘bah.
الشرح المختصر :
"Istiqbāl" (facing) means facing the Ka‘bah, and this is done in two ways: 1. Facing the Ka‘bah itself, for the one who is near enough to see it. 2. Facing the direction of the Ka‘bah, for the one who is far away from it.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Istiqbāl": facing something, encountering face to face. Opposite: "istidbār" (giving one's back to something).
