المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Benefiting of the shade in order to avoid sunlight.

الشرح المختصر :


"Istizhlāl" (seeking shade) means that a person seeks shade by using an umbrella or sitting under a roof, a wall or the like to be screened from the sun. "Istizhlāl" is of two types: 1. "Istizhlāl" through something that one wears, such as a "khimār" (large scarf or veil) 2. "Istizhlāl" through using things other than garments, such as a tree, a wall, a roof, or the like.

"Istizhlāl": shading oneself from the sunlight. Derived from "zhill", which means shade; a place covered from the sun. Original meaning: covering. Other meanings: seeking shade.
