المعنى الاصطلاحي :


When a person sits during prayer with his buttocks stuck to the ground, his legs held upright, and his hands placed on the ground.

الشرح المختصر :


Manner of performance: to sit firm on one's feet before standing up straight. He may sit on his thighs; lift his buttocks from the ground (by resting on his feet) and place his knees on the ground, or sit in a position like someone who wants to stand up, whether by sitting in the Iq‘ā’ posture (resting on both feet and thighs) or not.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Isteefāz": sitting in a position like that of someone who is about to stand up, whether this is associated with squatting or not.
