Saying ‘amen’ at the end of a supplication made by another person.
"Ta’meen-ud-du‘ā’" (saying ‘amen’) is one of the verbal ethics and acts of worship a person ought to observe upon hearing or reciting a supplication made by someone else regardless of whether the supplication is made for the supplicant, the hearer, or both of them. ‘Amen’ is a word used at the end of supplications inside the prayer or outside of it, as the believer asks Allah, the Almighty, to answer his invocations. It is the imperative form of "ta’meen", meaning: O Allah, answer the supplication.
