المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Transforming from one state to another, such as transforming one’s intention in prayer from performing a certain obligatory prayer to another obligatory prayer, or from an obligatory prayer to a voluntary prayer, whether intentionally or mistakenly.

الشرح المختصر :


"Taghyeer" (changing) in its general sense, is to replace something with another, bring about something unprecedented, or move from one condition to another, whether the transformation affects the essence, the attributes, or both of them. Examples of "taghyeer" include changing one’s intention in prayer from obligatory to supererogatory, or vice versa. "Taghyeer" may be done in two different ways: 1. "Taghyeer" of the form of something, not its essence: For example, when a person rebuilds his house in a new manner; he is said to have changed his house. 2. Replacing something with another: For example, when a person changes his riding animal; this means that he has replaced it with another one.
