Dye (صِبغة)

Dye (صِبغة)

العقيدة

المعنى الاصطلاحي :

The religion of Allah Almighty, which he chose for His slaves, and the natural disposition with which He created humans.

الشرح المختصر :

"Sibghah" (dye): In the Qur’an, Allah, the Exalted, called His religion "sibghah" because its effect on people is as profound as the effect of a "sibghah" on the dyed object. The religion of Allah merges with their hearts the way "sibghah" merges with fabric. Or it is called thus to draw an analogy, as Christians used to dip their infants in yellow water that they call "baptism", believing it to be a purification for them and by which they are admitted into Christianity.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :

"Sibghah": Derived from "sabgh", which means coloring with a dye. Other meanings: religion, beliefs, the natural disposition which Allah created in people.
