The rise of tongues of fire when a fire breaks out.
الشرح المختصر :
"Lahab" (blazing flames) is what appears on top of a fire when it is lit. It is of three types, as mentioned in the books of "tafseer" (exegesis): red, yellow, and green.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Lahab" or "lahb": derived from "lahab", which means what rises of the fire resembling a tongue. Other meanings: bright dust specks like smoke that comes out of the fire.
