المؤمن
كلمة (المؤمن) في اللغة اسم فاعل من الفعل (آمَنَ) الذي بمعنى...
Exceeding the Shariah-prescribed limit in words or actions.
"’Ifrāt" (excessiveness): Moderation in all affairs is the most prominent feature of this nation. Two practices ruin it: 1. Negligence: abandoning moderation and falling short in observing obligations, such as irresponsible protection of a trust until it is wasted or delaying the prayers or paying "Zakah", besides delaying other types of worship from their designated times. 2. Excessiveness: going beyond the prescribed limit, which leads to extremism and excessiveness in all affairs. For example, undue elongation of vowel sounds during the recitation of the Qur’an, or excessive use of water during ablution.
"’Ifrāt": exceeding the limits. "Mufrit": someone who exceeds the limits. Original meaning: removing something from its place. Other meanings: advancing, hastening, extremism, transgression, placing undue pressure beyond one's ability.
To exceed the upper and complete limits.
