المعنى الاصطلاحي :

Making things on no previous model.

الشرح المختصر :

"Eejaad" (bringing into existence) means to inititiate creating something, on no previous model. It is one of Allah's actions that belong to His lordship. Allah is the One and Only in His dominion to bring every being into existence. From Allah are these acts: bringing into existence, preparation, and providing with sustenance. Existents are of two categories: 1. Essential Being, i.e., Allah, Who originates everything, and He is in no need of being created. 2. Dependent beings, i.e., which needs to something else to create him and bring him from non-existence into existence. "Eejaad" is used to inform about Allah. So it is said that Allah creates things and brings them into existence. However, "moojid" and "mawjood" are not names of Allah, because Allah did not describe Himself as such, nor did Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him.
