"Ta’jeel" (postponement) is the date that a person specifies in the future in order to fulfill his obligation, such as delaying the payment of a debt to a certain time. It basically refers to the term assigned to something, such as "ta’jeel" of the demand of the price of a sold item one month, for example, after its due payment date.
"Ta’jeel": Derived from "ajila", which means setting a term or deadline for something to be done. Opposite: "‘ājil" (something due).
