التعريف :


To try to find out what is unknown, whether it is spying on other people and their homes and affairs, or spying on the enemy.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Tracing the private affairs and news of Muslims and searching for their flaws and secret issues in a stealthy manner.

الشرح المختصر :


"Tajassus" (spying) is to stealthily investigate the hidden affairs and pursue the news of Muslims. Spying could be done by the tongue, i.e. by asking about their affairs; physically, i.e. by secretly listening; by smelling, i.e. to know the type of smell; and by touching what is hidden in a garment, i.e. to know the shape of something.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Tajassus": searching, investigating. This word is used mostly in negative and evil contexts. It is derived from "jass", which means to know something by slight touching.
