التعريف :
A name of the fire of the life to come in which God punishes unbelievers, hypocrites and sinners after the resurrection and reckoning.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
A name of the fire with which Allah the Exalted torments those who deserve punishment.
الشرح المختصر :
"Jahannam" (Hell) is a name of the fire that Allah uses as punishment in the hereafter. It consists of seven levels and for each level a class of sinners, from the Devil's followers, is assigned. May Allah protect us from Hell!
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Jahannam": a name of the fire with which Allah punishes people in the hereafter. It is a foreign word that has no derivatives. Others say it is an Arabic word. The term reflects a state of abyssal depth.
