interdiction (الحَظْر)

التعريف :
To prevent and prohibit something.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Forbidding an action and requiring abandoning it to comply with the Shariah, so the one who abandons it deserves reward and the one who commits it deserves punishment.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Hazhr": prohibition, forbiddance, ban. Opposite: "ibāhah" (permissibility).
