Giving out obligatory charity to the poor by letting him own it.
"Ikhrāj az-Zakah" (giving Zakah) means giving out obligatory alms as required by the Shariah. A certain amount is given out from one's wealth (when that wealth reaches the amount liable for Zakah), including freely grazing animals, land produce, extracted minerals such as gold and silver, trade items, etc. It should be done by transferring its ownership to the poor, even if damaged before handing it over to poor according to some jurists, while some jurists hold that it is enough to set aside the Zakah without stipulating to hand it over to him.
"Ikhrāj": taking out, moving away. Opposite: "idkhāl" (inserting).
A scholar of hadith enters a hadith with its chain of transmission in one of his books.
