Sincere affection, love, and companionship between two or more friends.
"Sadāqah" (friendship): Hearts and souls' agreement on affection. When everyone in a group of people harbors feelings of affection for his fellow, in such a way that their hidden feelings are the same as the apparent for each other, then they are called "asdiqā’" (friends). The sharia encourages "sadāqah" among Muslims, and generally refers to it as: brotherliness for the sake of Allah Almighty.
"Sadāqah": friendship and affection; companionship and fellowship. Derived from "sidq", which means truthfulness; the opposite of "kadhib" (lying).
A good, sincere relationship of amity and love. It applies to humans only.
