Meeting people with a smile, cordiality, kind words, and displaying pleasure.
"Talāqat al-wajh" (cheerfulness) is one of the virtuous morals that bring a Muslim closer to his Muslim brother and sow love between them, because the appearance reflects what is inside. When they meet in such a state, it makes them feel the love, modesty, and happiness that lie in meeting each other. The Muslim may not display such "talāqat al-wajh"with the combatant disbeliever or the disobedient innovator as a sign of disapproval of his attitude and in order to raise the word of Islam high.
That one’s face appears cheerful when meeting others, showing no expression of gloom.
