التعريف :


A slender, emaciated animal which has lost its bone marrow.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Sheep and cattle that doesn’t have marrow in its bones.

الشرح المختصر :


"‘Ajfā’" (a scrawny cattle) is of two kinds: 1. An extremely scrawny without meat, whose bones do not have marrow. 2. A scrawny that has marrow in its bones. Its thinness maybe due to a disease or congenital.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"‘Ajfā’" (pl. ‘ajfāwāt", ‘ijāf"): a scrawny sheep and other cattle that lost meat and fat. Derived from "‘ajaf", which means: slimness and losing fat. Other meanings: retention, prevention.
