continuous conditional analogy (الْقِيَاسُ الشَّرْطِيّ الْمُتَّصِل)

أصول الفقه

التعريف :

An analogy composed of two preliminaries: the first consists of two inseparable issues, one of them includes a conditional. The second preliminary is one issue that includes a particle of exception, or it is expressed in a sense of exception. This is a term of logic used by scholars of principles of jurisprudence and they call it talāzum, which means ‘interconnection’.
