"Muroo’ah" (prowess/nobility) is one of the characteristics and properties that urge a person to adopt noble Islamic manners and virtues morals in his relationship with Allah Almighty, himself, and other people. "Muroo’ah" is based upon two fundamental pillars: justice with oneself, and being good to others. It falls under two categories: 1. "Muroo’ah" of action: adopting properties loved by Allah and the Muslims which adorn the person in the affairs whose effect is restricted to himself or those whose effect extends to others. Examples include fearing Allah, maintaining ties of kinship, offer hospitable treatment to the guest, living with others in kindness, and other qualities. 2. Actions that breach "muroo’ah" are of two types: 1. Actions that breach "muroo’ah" as per the Islamic legislation, like lying, betrayal, disobedience of Allah, and others. 2. Actions that breach "muroo’ah" as per custom and common practice in the person's place of residence. This type is subject to local custom. It includes uncovering the head, the way of dressing, and eating in the street. Being so, such actions differ according to place and time.
