A Hadith that has two or more successive narrators dropped form its chain of narrators.
Mu‘dal (Hadith with two successive dropped narrators) is a type of rejected Hadiths which misses two or more successive narrators from their chain of narrators from the beginning, the middle, or the end.
"Mu‘dal": restrained and detained. "‘Adl" means hardness and solidity. Other meanings: narrowness, exhaustion, twisting, and closure.
A hadith with a chain of transmission from which two consecutive narrators are missing. If the dropped narrators are at the beginning of the chain of transmission, it is the same as muꜤallaq, and if they are at the end of the chain, it is the same as mursal. Some scholars also call it munqaṭiꜤ or mursal.
