Place allocated for burying the dead people.
"Maqbarah" (cemetery) is a place where there are three or more graves. A place where there is only one or two graves is not considered a "maqbarah".
"Maqbarah": graveyard. Derived from "qabr": grave, the hole in the ground wherein the deceased person is placed. Any place where the body of a deceased person is kept hidden is called "qabr", even the sea. "Qabr" also means the act of burying the deceased in the earth. Original meaning of "qabr": obscurity and invisibility. It was called thus because it conceals the body of the deceased person.
