new beginning (الاِسْتِئْنَاف)

التعريف :
To start with a new meaning that neither confirms nor adds to what went before it, nor is it needed to understand the former meaning. It is one of the uses of the ‘wa’ conjunction.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Resuming prayer from the beginning after it was interrupted for a reason such as breaking the "wudu"" or something similar.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Isti"nāf": proceeding to do something or resuming it. Original meaning: to start something from the beginning.
