Abu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) was more bashful than a virgin in her boudoir. Whenever he saw anything he disliked, we could perceive it on his face.

شرح الحديث :

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was more bashful than an unmarried woman, who is the most bashful among women, since she has not married and lived intimately with a man. Hence, she remains shy in her chamber. So, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was even shyer than such a woman. However, if he saw something to his dislike or contradicting his nature, the effect of this could be visible on his face.
